Description of role: 

The Sales Support Specialist will directly report to the sales manager and is responsible for supporting the North America Sales team with lead generation, managing the sales pipeline, sales event planning, and reporting of sales metrics and data.



The primary objective is to provide administrative and industry-related support to the sales team through planning, organizing, and maintaining sales events, documentation, data, reporting, and lead qualification.



The position requires effective leadership and business execution for the following key focus areas. Additional responsibilities may be added as the needs of the business change and expand: 

  • Generate and process new sales leads, as necessary

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to increase leads

  • Qualify inbound leads - inside sales activities

  • Maintain sales data and lead contacts for the team

  • Manage sales tracking tools and report on progress to leadership

  • Keep record of sales trends and help guide the sales team

  • Stay up-to-date on new business, opportunities, and industry standards

  • Interpret sales metrics and perform data entry

  • Plan, implement, and manage sales educational workshops for the sales team

  • Handle all administrative duties for the sales team and the scheduling of client meetings and conferences

  • Coordinate travel and resources needed for sales team

  • Organize and coordinate events for prospective clients and the sales team

  • Work with internal teams to organize and write responses for RFPs

  • Document sales processes; identify bottlenecks and improvement areas, and suggest solutions or identify owners

  • Write white papers and sales materials for publication

  • Communicate with new/prospective and existing clients through verbal and written formats, face-to-face, phone, and electronic means


Required Skills: 

  • Attention to detail

  • Fluent in English language

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Written communication preparation: decks, literature, documentation

  • Sales knowledge, including sales metrics and industry best practices

  • Analytical and multitasking skills

  • Negotiation, selling, and customer service

  • Proficiency with MicroSoft Office and G-Suite of products

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize

  • Proven work experience in sales or marketing
  • Experience working with CRM software and data analysis
  • Experience working for a CRM outsource business, preferred
  • Experience writing RFP's, preferred
  • Experience in call center business sales, preferred



  • University degree or equivalent higher education 
  • Degree in Marketing or Business, preferred


Job Type: Full-Time 

Location:  Los Angeles, CA with ability to travel 10% of the time
